Dell Officially Launches DC to USB-C Converter, with Which Old Chargers Also Support PD Output
Dell laptops have a huge market share. Although most of them have been replaced with USB-C interfaces that support PD common fast charging, old laptops are still equipped with DC round-mouth chargers, which have powerful output ability, but cannot be used for other devices.
Recently, the editor found that a batch of Dell DC to USB-C converters appeared in the market, which can change old Dell round-mouth chargers into USB-C PD fast charge output, and supports the use of devices.
It can be seen from the pictures that these converters are packed in transparent bags and the body is black.
One end of the converter is a 4.5*3.0 pin input socket, which is used to be inserted by Dell small port DC charger, and the other end is a common USB output port, which can output 20V PD standard fast charging.
The converter has a short cable and is portable. The DC converter is slender, and there is a buck circuit in it.
