Lenovo Releases a ThinkBook Lipstick Power Pro, with a Power of 65W and GaN Components as Well as 1A1C Two-Port Output
In 2018, Lenovo released a Thinkplus charger, commonly known as lipstick charger. Its slender appearance was very shocking at the time, which also made players remember this “lipstick charger”. On September 24, 2020, the vice president of Lenovo, Wang Zhong, announced the second-generation lipstick power “Thinkbook Lipstick Power Pro” at Lenovo’s autumn new product launch event. It has a power of 65W and uses gallium nitride power devices as well as is equipped with 1A1C dual interfaces.
Lenovo ThinkBook lipstick power Pro follows the same slender design. The maximal output power is 65W, and has two output ports of 1A1C. As a Pro-level product, Lenovo ThinkBook lipstick power Pro uses gallium nitride power devices.
Lenovo ThinkBook Lipstick Power Pro is developed based on USB PD fast charging standard. It can charge 80% of power for ThinkBook in 1 hour. The two interfaces,1A1C, support simultaneous output, and can charge ThinkBook and mobile phones at the same time. It can also charge common digital products in the market.
The launch of Lenovo ThinkBook Lipstick Power Pro means that Lenovo has increased the release of GaN multi-port chargers in the market. For USB PD standard, it not only can serve its own laptop products, but also it is available for other digital products of users. In terms of price, Lenovo ThinkBook Lipstick Power Pro is priced at 299 yuan, and the launch date is unknown.
