JLab releases an external true wireless audio module, which can change into smart audio glasses quickly
The audio brand, JLab, releases a JBuds Frames product during CES2021 with a built-in speaker unit and Bluetooth chip. It has a modular design similar to TWS. It can be used on the temples of glasses to instantly transform into smart audio glasses. It is reported that the product is priced at only $50 and will be on sale this spring.
This JBuds Frames accessory uses a clip design, so any glasses products can be used. The product has a built-in 16mm speaker unit and adopts directional sound technology to ensure that only the wearer can hear the sound, avoiding privacy leakage; the headset supports single and double ear use, adopts physical button control, waterproof grade IPX4, and lasts up to 8 hours in a single use.
JBuds Frames uses a magnetic interface for charging, and JLab also designed a one-for-two charging cable for it. It is also equipped with replaceable clips to adapt to different glasses forms.
Compared to smart audio glasses whose circuits are integrated in the temples and are more expensive, the plug-in solution of JBuds Frames achieves the same effect and is affordable. Users can change the glasses at will, but the aesthetics must be discounted. . The design idea is similar to that of sunglasses clip, suitable for friends who are used to wearing glasses.
