Nubia Releases a 65W Three-Port Gallium Nitride Charger with 2C1A Configuration
On the evening of March 13, 2020, Red Devils released a new flagship mobile phone: Red Devils 5G gaming phone, the world’s first 5G gaming phone equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate screen, the front is 6.65 inches, officially called the “super competitive screen” AMOLED Material screen, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, and running memory up to 16GB, it is also the world’s first 16GB memory gaming phone.
In terms of charging, it supports 10A high current 55W fast charging, the charging speed is very fast, the phone can be charged to 56% in 15 minutes, the charging capacity is up to 2520mAh, the charging capacity is 90% in 30 minutes, and the charging is 100% in 40 minutes. Why can it achieve such a fast charging speed? Because the Red Devil has a built-in 15000rpm air-cooled turbine cooling fan, with the blessing of the air-cooled turbine, the Red Devil can maintain high-power charging for a long time, so as to achieve a short-term full effect.
In addition, the Red Devils also released a 55W charger that supports the standard universal QC4.0 / PD3.0 PPS fast charging standard. The fixed voltage includes 5V3A / 9V3A / 12V3A 15V3A, and the PPS voltage includes 3.3V-11V5A. Most notebooks and mobile phones that support the PPS protocol on the market provide fast charging.
At the press conference, Nubia also released a 65W gallium nitride charger called “Deuterium Front”, with orange-red USB-A tongues on the white shell as an embellishment, consistent with the main color of the Red Devils brand. In terms of interface configuration, the Red Devils Deuterium Front GaN Charger has two USB-C PD output interfaces and one USB-A fast charging interface. Both new and old equipment users can take care of their needs and can charge three devices at the same time. The 65W output power can provide power supply requirements for mobile phones, tablets, and notebooks, and a foldable pin design is used to facilitate travel.
Nubia is the first mobile phone brand manufacturer to release a multi-port GaN charger. Previously, OPPO released a 65W GaN charger, and Xiaomi also released a 65W GaN charger, but they all have only one output interface. OPPO’s more The USB-A interface does not support PD. This time, the Red Devils brought 2C1A deuterium GaN chargers, which I believe will promote the popularization of multi-port GaN high-power chargers.
